Deep below the city of Sharn, even below the sealed section of the old goblin city, is an industrial city a place of manufacturing, where elementals are bound, and metal is extracted and worked. The Cogs are built next to the lava pools and magma rivers of Sharn. They are an industrial area where many of the poor and convicted criminals work for a few years before being used up and released into the slums of lower Sharn. |

The city is also providing a large refugee camp for citizens of Cyre who survived the disaster that created the mourn land 4 years ago. His superiors are cloistered inside the temple grounds and will only see visitors if the good Father approves. |

The Kings brother, Kor IrWynarn, is leads the Citadel and acts as a trusted advisor to the thrown. Citadel troops, are classified into three recognized organizations, The Kings Swoards, Kings Shields, and Kings Fire. Two other less well known organizations are also uncer the command of Kor, The Dark Lanterns and the Shadow Watch, Spies and assassins? Most citizens have heard of the Dark Lanterns and know that they are the secret police, few know of the Shadow Watch and none but the few in the kings citidel know the actions of the shadow watch.
In Sharn the Citadel is in the Ambasador Towers district of the Central plato. It is rare that the Citidel needs to send agents into the streets of sharn, but when they do they are efficient and when in the open operate with overwhelming force. When in the shadow with great skill. |

Mercenary Adventures guild in Sharn. The Death Watch are often hired when someone needs muscle and expects violence. A typical Job is 10GP for a day, + basic looting rights. (Equipment and money from what they kill) + a bonus if a mission is successful. This will get you the service of a trained level 1 or 2 warrior. You will need a leader if you hire more then 6 of these men, a leader is a 3rd level fighter or 4th level warrior and will cost you 40GP for a days work. A leader can manage up to about 20 men. |

Great Prophecy |
The Dragons and many of the more powerful schools of wizardry believe that a great prophecy is unfolding. The end is uncertain but all events are linked and by studying the prophecy some are able to gain knowledge of future events. |
War of the Mark |
? Years ago the 12 high houses of the Mark entered a war against the 'aberrant' marks. The war lasted several years eventually culminating in a siege and destruction of the City of Sharn. Lord Tarkanin and his queen were eventually slain after a two year siege. Aberrant marks are now extremely rare. |

Thrall |
A mostly dead, not quite living slave to a vampire. When a vampire feeds they have four choices. Feed and release, Feed and Kill, Feed and create a new vampire, or Feed and create a mostly dead slave, A thrall. Thralls can be detected as undead, but are more difficult to turn then typical zombies. They can be hurt by non-magical weapons but resistant to minor cuts and scrapes.(DR 5). A Thrall retains some of it's memories and skills from it's living past. They have a strong desire for blood, but will obey the orders of their vampire master. |
