The World
Background 
 
The campaign is based in and around what is known as the Eastern kingdom.  The Eastern Kingdom is primarly inhabited by humans, gnomes and halflings. More exotic races like Orcs, Elves, and Dwarves do also live in the region, but their primary cultural centers are outside of the kingdom.
 
The region is predominatly temperate but contains a rich diversity of ecosystems from the dry dunes of the Kandani Desert to the coastal marshes and alpine forests of the high mountains.
