Character Creation

1. Select a Race:-
Dwarf +2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 Cha

Elf +2 Dex, +2 Int, -2 Con

Gnome +2 Int, +2 Cha, -2 Str

Half-elf +1 to two ability scores

Half-orc +2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Int

Halfling +2 Dex, +2 Cha, -2 Str

Human +2 to one ability score
2. Generate Ability Scores: Follow the point-buy method in the order described below.

Begin with scores of 10 in each ability.

Apply racial modifiers to ability scores.

Distribute 20 points to ability scores as desired (max starting score = 18).

You may reduce an ability score by 2, and add 1 to another ability score.
3. Select a Starting Class: Characters begin with max hit points + ½ Con Score. Other classes will be available upon advancing to 2nd level and beyond.

4. Action Points: 1st level characters begin with 1 Action Point (see House Rules for important changes to the rules for gaining and using Action Points).
5. Religion: Most people in the eastern kingdom worship the greek gods.
6. Equipment: You begin with 500 GP to spend on equipment and a magic item to be determined by the character background story and the GM.
7. Follower: You start the campaing with a squire, guard or other loyal companion. The follower will be run by the GM but should be described in the character background.
8. Background: Your character is the son or daughter of a barron, duke, guild master, religious leader or other dignitary of the Eastern Kingdom. The characters in the campaign are the children of people of importance in the kingdom. Born to aristocracy or guild masters the characters have significant influence, resources and responsibilities. These are the people that the citizens will look to for leadership and protection in times of peril, and those times are coming. Not yet the leaders of their family the characters still have significant freedom and opportunity to shape their destiny, be it family patriarch or pariah. Your starting character will be in their early teens at the start of the campaign.
